BALLY WULFF and APEX join forces
Bally Wulff has confirmed that Thomas Niehenke, currently CEO of BALLY WULFF Holding GmbH, and the APEX Group, headed by Johannes Weissengruber, intend to take over the Berlin-based BALLY WULFF companies.
In the statement, the company indicates that « the corresponding negotiations with Ulrich Schmidt are already well advanced. Novomatic, which is occasionally mentioned in the press, is not involved in the project, and the price mentioned in this context is not correct. »
« Especially with the entry of the APEX Group » – they state from the German company – « and the resulting transfer of know-how and mutual cooperation opportunities, BALLY WULFF has excellent prospects in the core markets of Germany and Spain, as well as the possibility of a simplified internationalization of the products. »
« Due to the extraordinarily positive growth in the worldwide casino markets over the past years », the APEX Group has not been able to exploit the possibilities of the German market, especially in the past. « BALLY WULFF’s products and market opportunities are an ideal match, » the company says.
Thus, the companies APEX and BALLY WULFF, together, « want to set ambitious goals ».
